Living Pearls-In-Memoriam
Gamma Phi Delta Sorority established "Living Pearls" in 1976. Because of the need to maintain thirteen active Pearls in Gamma Phi Delta, it was adopted by the Boulé session at Detroit, Michigan on July 29, 1976 to establish the "THIRTEEN LIVING PEARLS" by election. This group does not replace the "ORIGINAL PEARLS" named by the Organization. Pearls, in both categories, upon demise, shall become "PEARLS-IN-MEMORIAM".
